One morning I woke up, and it was sooo cold! When I looked around our house all the little chickens looked like big chickens! They were all puffed up. When I tried to stand up, I fell down on my face.
When Fern and Blossom came to check on us, they said, "Look their feathers are all puffed up. That keeps them warm like our down comforters keep us warm."
I'm glad you , including the chickens, are all staying warm! it has been mighty cold these past days. we did get a break, but the cold weather is coming back! i love rosie's blog!
